Skara Brae, heart of Orkney Island was a very impressive place.

Many writtens about this village, probably deserted cause Storm and retreived many years later by Storm.

Visitors was impressed about the quality of this neolithic village which took place in many fictional talls of nowdays.

Engraved rhunic stones was the same than Brodgar and Stenness.

That easy to imagine the spiritual environment of these Norsemen trough Maeshow, Stenness, Brodgar... even if there was no proof of links.

When I was ten, I heard the name of Skara Brae inside an Adventure game : The Bard's Tale...

... I was impressed to walk thirty years later across its streets, after my own Soldier's adventure.
